Estuardo Ligorría G. is the Vice-President of Operations in TELUS International Guatemala, the largest BPO in Central America.
Estuardo joined TELUS International Guatemala in 2009 as Corporate Controller, being responsible for the Finance Department and reporting directly to the CFO. His leadership style and analytical skills enabled him to join the Operations team in 2011, where he led the largest program in TELUS International at the time, as Account General Manager, with team members in all the regions where we operated.
At the end of 2012,he was promoted to Operations Director, where he led seven external programs, and all of TELUS internal programs in the region. He was promoted to Vice-President of Operations in Guatemala in 2014; in his current role, Estuardo leads an operation with more than 5,000 team members in different locations, and he is responsible for the Company’s results (P&L), its organic growth and new clients, and the efficiencies and logistics for all Operations.
Estuardo is a Board Member of CANCHAM and also Board Member of the Contact Center & BPO Commission from the Guatemalan Exporters Association, where he actively participates sharing his knowledge and initiatives in favor of the BPO industry in Guatemala.
Estuardo has experience in Distribution & Logistics, Dairy, Banking and Construction industries.
Estuardo holds a Bachelor’s Degree as a Certified Public Accountant from Universidad Rafael Landivar in Guatemala City.
